Next step: I have to hit the job boards hard.\u201d<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Many <a href=\"https:\/\/executivecareerbrand.com\/should-you-use-chatgpt-for-resume-writing-and-job-search\/\">job<\/a> seekers believe that being up-to-date with the latest internet-driven job search methods means continuously blasting their resume out to any job posting that remotely looks like a potential fit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Job boards typically yield a dismal estimated 5-10% success rate, especially for c-suite and senior-level executives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>ATS: One of the biggest problems with job boards<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>And then there&#8217;s the problem of getting your resume through the <a href=\"https:\/\/executivecareerbrand.com\/executive-resume-ats-applicant-tracking-systems-need-know\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) (opens in a new tab)\">Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)<\/a> used by executive recruiters and HR professionals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These systems are not standardized.
