Many posts require research, feeding my need to continuously learn new strategies and ideas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And it doesn\u2019t hurt that I love this kind of writing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As I look back on posts throughout last year, clearly LinkedIn was once again a favorite topic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That&#8217;s because LinkedIn is one of the best tools available to job seekers, to communicate their <a href=\"https:\/\/executivecareerbrand.com\/ignore-the-hype-what-authentic-personal-branding-is-and-is-not\/\">personal brand<\/a>, position themselves as subject matter experts, stay top-of-mind with their networks, and network their way into new jobs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some of these I wrote several years ago and update regularly. Both you and the employer pay the price for that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They will have lost the costs associated with the hiring process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You will have lost precious time stagnating in a job you don\u2019t like, waiting until you think it\u2019s okay to jump ship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And you\u2019ll have to face the job search process all over again . . . unless you decide to stay with a company or job that\u2019s wrong for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But take heart.
