Put yourself in the shoes of these people assessing your candidacy through your LinkedIn profile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first thing they\u2019ll notice when they land on your <a href=\"https:\/\/executivecareerbrand.com\/deadly-linkedin-mistake-no-professional-photo\/\">profile is your photo<\/a> . . . or lack of one. I have to keep my job search undercover. So they need to keep their job search under wraps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But, they\u2019ll probably need to add to, or change, the content in their LinkedIn profile to position themselves as good-fit candidates for their target employers. And they\u2019ll need to ramp up their activity on LinkedIn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Accomplishing this, while staying undercover, doesn\u2019t pose a major challenge, but it does require a stealth strategy, and an understanding of how LinkedIn works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Here are 5 strategies to keep your job search confidential on LinkedIn:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Turn off notifications to your network.<br>2. Safely <a href=\"https:\/\/executivecareerbrand.com\/15-savvy-tips-to-boost-linkedin-profile-views\/\">view other LinkedIn profiles<\/a> without them knowing.<br>3. Add or change profile content slowly.<br>4. Be careful with <a href=\"https:\/\/executivecareerbrand.com\/deadly-linkedin-mistake-forgetting-linkedin-groups\/\">LinkedIn Groups<\/a><br>5.
