You&#8217;ll find lots of information about the company.<\/li><li>Then take a look at the LinkedIn profiles of employees of each company. See if you know them. Connect with them.<\/li><li>Employees you don\u2019t know may also be ones to invite to connect with you.<\/li><li>Check LinkedIn Jobs to see if your target companies are looking for people like you. Make note of the qualifications needed.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Leverage all that LinkedIn has to offer \u2013 <em>both passively and proactively<\/em> \u2013 to promote the unique value you offer your target employers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here\u2019s how LinkedIn works for you both passively and proactively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><span style=\"color:#0d7b14\" class=\"has-inline-color\">For Passive Personal Branding and Job Search<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Build a robust LinkedIn profile that will lead people to you:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Create an <a href=\"https:\/\/executivecareerbrand.com\/3-big-mistakes-that-screw-up-your-linkedin-professional-headline\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SEO-friendly Professional Headline<\/a>.<\/li><li>Add a professional-looking profile photo. <a href=\"https:\/\/executivecareerbrand.com\/15-savvy-tips-to-boost-linkedin-profile-views\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"899\">Profiles with photos get more views<\/a>.<\/li><li>Write a <a href=\"https:\/\/executivecareerbrand.com\/how-to-write-a-dazzling-linkedin-summary\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">dazzling Summary section<\/a>.
